What’s the best way to learn Spanish? That may vary depending on the person and their learning style. However, I have learned two languages in my adulthood so I have a pretty good idea of what it takes. In addition, I was a teacher of English as a second language for over 8 years. So what I’m about to share here is based on some solid experience.

The best way to learn Spanish is to first choose a Spanish language course. You need some sort of course to guide you through as you first start learning a language. There are several good Spanish courses out there right now. I’ve been sharing Rocket Spanish recently. You may want to sign up for a face-to-face course if that suits your learning style.

What does this mean? Well, different people learn in different ways. Some respond better to things that they hear; others respond best to things they see; yet others need to DO- to have a hands on experience in order for the information to ’stick’. Learning Spanish is the same way.

These are just some of the reasons for learning Spanish online. Add convenience and affordability, and it’s not just a positive experience, but a practical one as well. There are several things that can make some experiences of learning Spanish online more beneficial than others. Here are a few things you should look for in an online Spanish learning service.

Finally you have to use the language. Some experts say that immersion is the best way to learn. I found that to be not true for me. I was immersed for several months while studying Spanish and several years while studying Chinese. Being immersed was not enough. You need to the two methods I mentioned above as well. None of these three will work well without the other two. They need to be used in together.

Then there are the elements of how you practice the language. To learn Spanish fast you have to be able to start using it right away. A good teaching system will provide exercises, games, flashcards, and other ways to help you practice the lessons that you’re learning.

And finally, look at price. There are plenty of ways of learning Spanish online without breaking the bank. Find the right combination of these criteria for you and you’ll speak Spanish in no time!
